It makes me think of home when I come here in the summer.. I love the lake and wish I could go more often. It's kind of the only lake around here with sandy beaches (you can't really count Sheridan lake) the water temperature isn't super freezing either like some of the hills lakes. It's a pretty big lake and great for tubing. It can be a fun lake for family or partying.
I wish I could write a review about my stay there, but weather kept me from staying. I DO want to compliment the staff. I was 1/2 way thru a 4k mile motorcycle ride when I got there. the girls in front (Julia and ? (sorry)) were SO very accommodating in looking at weather for me and determining where I might find suitable weather to tent and also letting me charge my phone :) I will make a point to get back there cause if the front office is any indication of how the place is run, it's a winner!
Beautiful area with clean modern facilities. All the people who work here are super friendly and healthy
Beautiful views and a wonderful trail around the lake. Sunsets are amazing here and camping is awesome. Great food at the Inferno right off Breakers Beach which is where the party is at on the weekends
Great place for a little family vacation. Beautiful area with great beaches. Clean and charming and easily accessible. Bring some firewood for the cool fall nights.
