We had a nice stay. The room was clean and the breakfast had a good selection for a continental breakfast. I'd stay here again.
He said the "bad smell" is still here, he came back with air freshener and sprayed it all over our room without asking if he could come in.

We left and came back to the motel and our beds weren't made, trash was still on the floor. Poor service, Rude Employee's, don't come here.
We brought our own crock pot for cooking a chicken. We set it in and left assuming it was okay considering it was plugged into a surge protector and our room came with a fridge and microwave.
We came back and the manager "Indian man" complained of a "bad smell" and that we would need to unplug it. We unplugged it and waited for it to finish cooking. We took it out heated it up in the microwave and he came back again saying "are you cooking again". We said no we are using the microwave.
This is right next store to the Mammoth Exhivit, which is a cool exhibit. Also, it is an hour away from Mount Rushmore. Moreover, the rooms are pretty nice, and they are non-smoking. The breakfast is okay, but not the greatest. However, it complimentary so it's good. And finally, the service has been pretty decent so far as well!
Rooms are nice. Staff was friendly. Breakfast does not change. But clean and nice to stay at.
Not the greatest place to stay, we chose this place because it was convenient and close to our vacation spots. Initially nothing was wrong with our room besides the wifi not working.
He later made a remark saying a women left because of our "bad smell" and didn't want a bad review.
I booked this hotel online not realizing it does NOT have a pool. Upon arriving, with two kids with us, I found out there was not a pool at this hotel. My kids were highly upset. I asked if I could transfer my reservation to another nearby Super 8. I was pretty much given the run around that they didn't have connection to any other hotels. I called the booking agent I used online and asked them if my reservation could be moved. They called the hotel to see if my reservation could be canceled. They agreed to cancel with a one night charge. We totally agreed to that. My agent then proceeded to book us a different hotel with a pool. In the meantime she finished up canceling out our reservation to the Hot Springs Super 8. Now they decided they weren't going to cancel out my reservation and they were going to charge us for the full three nights. At this point my husband and I didn't care. The hotel was a dump, not well taken care of at all and not very clean. There was NO way we were going to stay there with our kids and our dogs. We happily booked at a different hotel that we loved our stay at. BEWARE of this hotel! NOT worth any amount of money to stay there!
