The food was good, it was bar food. The place was busy for the eclipse which is understandable and the servers were pretty good. The "general manager" Toni however was very loud. Would refuse people instead of giving a time frame. She was bashing the folks there for being there for the eclipse, paying customers. The prices were also steep for what you got. 14 dollars for a sandwich and fries is way too steep. I would try another restaurant in town next time.
We ordered the mild wings for $11 and the mozzarella sticks $10. The mild wings were very hot and spicy. There was nothing mild about them and only there are only 6 of them. The mozzarella sticks were tiny. When we got our food just looking at the portion sizes was shameful there was hardly anything there for the prices they charge.
There are plenty of better places in town to eat. Very expensive for simple bar food.
After a long day of driving from Utah, we checked into the Historic Log cabins where they recommended a few places to dine and we chose JP's and ordered a pizza for under $20 which feed 4 of us. The staff was very friendly and the Pizza was great. Would definitely eat there again.
Well, there aren't alot of options in Hot Springs, SD. We came upon this dark, dank place that Guy Fieri would call a "Dive." Server was very pleasant....busy, for one man. They don't have Chocolate milk, my 7 year old daughter found out. I ordered a Pulled Pork Sandwich with coleslaw and onion rings. My husband ordered the South by Southwest Roger with onion rings. My daughter ordered pizza. The food was AMAZING!!!
